MUFG Innovation Partners Becomes Strategic Investor in Doppel
Investment will support Doppel’s continued product innovation, team growth, and global expansion
SAN FRANCISCO, Sept. 24, 2026 — Doppel, the Frontier AI Social Engineering Defense (SED) platform, today announced that MUFG Innovation Partners (MUIP), the corporate venture capital arm of Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group (MUFG), has become a strategic investor in the company. MUIP’s support will accelerate Doppel’s platform evolution and help the company continue growing, investing in talent, and strengthening its go-to-market capabilities.

MUIP’s investment comes during a period of significant growth for Doppel. The company recently surpassed 300 customers globally and brought on a record number of new enterprise organizations in the second quarter of 2026.
Doppel has also continued to advance its unified Social Engineering Defense platform. In July, the company launched Doppel Email Security and introduced AI Managed Service for Human Risk Management, expanding its ability to detect, investigate, and disrupt social engineering attacks while helping organizations build more tailored training and simulation programs.
Additionally, Doppel has continued to grow its global workforce, opening new hubs in Toronto and Austin, while expanding its office in New York City. Doppel also strengthened its presence in Japan and appointed new Country Manager Hideki Ushigome.
