LooksRare is a decentralized, community-first NFT marketplace. The protocol was released on the Ethereum blockchain in January 2022 by pseudonymous founders Zodd and Guts.
Since, it has become a fixture of the NFT market — boasting an aggregator that supports OpenSea and Blur listings, a portfolio tracking app, and in-house smart contracts to make trading non-fungible tokens as easy as possible for its users.
LooksRare has a particular emphasis on rewarding the community for its participation — from trading rebates in the form of its LOOKS token to the distribution of 100% of collected trading fees to users that ‘commit’ their LOOKS.
