Social Engineering Attacks Targeting Healthcare

Thursday, December 3
2:20 - 3:00 PM MST

AI is transforming social engineering in healthcare, enabling attackers to exploit clinical workflows, impersonate staff, and manipulate help desks through increasingly realistic, coordinated attacks.

Join Josh Bartolomie, VP of Threat Intelligence at Doppel, for a 40-minute session exploring how AI-powered attack chains exploit healthcare-specific vulnerabilities and what security teams can do to detect, simulate, and disrupt these threats before they impact patient care.

What you'll learn

  • Identify how attackers use AI, voice simulation, and identity reconnaissance to impersonate healthcare staff
  • Recognize how attackers exploit clinical workflows, EHR access, and patient care urgency to make deception more convincing
  • Apply threat intelligence, targeted simulations, and training to reduce human risk and strengthen defenses against care disruptions
