We are looking for a strategic and operationally excellent Renewals Manager to own the renewal lifecycle, drive retention, and ensure predictable revenue performance across our customer base.

Role Summary

The Renewals Manager will own and operationalize Doppel’s renewal strategy across all segments. This person will partner closely with Customer Success, Sales, Finance, and Legal to ensure timely, efficient, and predictable renewals.

This is a highly cross-functional, revenue-impacting role focused on:

  • Gross retention
  • Net dollar retention (NDR)
  • Renewal forecasting accuracy
  • Process optimization and risk mitigation

The ideal candidate is commercially savvy, highly organized, proactive, and comfortable operating in a fast-moving SaaS environment.

What You’ll Do

Own the Renewal Lifecycle

  • Manage the end-to-end renewal process from strategic review through contract signature
  • Drive timely outreach, pricing alignment, and commercial negotiations
  • Ensure clean execution of renewal quotes, contracts, and amendments
  • Remove friction from procurement and legal workflows

Forecast & Revenue Predictability

  • Identify at-risk renewals early and escalate appropriately
  • Provide weekly reporting on renewal pipeline health and risk indicators in partnership with CSMs and Sales
  • Partner with Finance to align on ARR projections and board reporting

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with CSMs, AEs, and Channel Managers to align renewal strategy with account health and expansion opportunities
  • Work closely with Sales to coordinate expansion and renewal motions
  • Align with Legal and Finance to streamline contracting processes
  • Provide feedback to leadership on trends in pricing objections, churn drivers, and competitive pressure

Risk Identification & Mitigation

  • Monitor renewal risk signals (usage decline, sentiment shifts, escalations)
  • Ensure recovery plans are in place for high-risk accounts
  • Support executive engagement in strategic renewal situations
  • Reduce surprise churn through structured governance

Process & Systems Optimization

  • Build and refine renewal playbooks and workflows
  • Define SLAs for renewal handoffs and cross-functional alignment
  • Improve renewal automation within CRM and billing systems
  • Establish standardized documentation and contracting templates

Who You Are

Required Qualifications

  • 4+ years experience in Renewals, Revenue Operations, Customer Success, or Account Management in SaaS
  • Strong commercial negotiation skills
  • Experience managing complex enterprise renewals
  • Comfort with contract language and pricing structures
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Highly analytical and data-driven

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in cybersecurity or enterprise SaaS
  • Familiarity with NDR-driven growth models
  • Experience working with multi-year agreements and expansion contracts
  • Experience improving renewal processes in scaling companies

Candidates must be authorized to work in the territory in which they're working. We are not currently able to sponsor visas.

The base salary range for this role is $110,000-120,000, with an on-target earnings (OTE) range of $130,000-140,000, equity participation, and comprehensive benefits.
Exact compensation will be commensurate with experience and location.
