The Role

Doppel is seeking an experienced and results-driven Regional Vice President (RVP) of Sales to lead our Mid Market sales team across the West region. This pivotal role requires a dynamic leader who thrives in fast-paced environments and is passionate about building high-performing sales teams. The RVP will be responsible for achieving regional revenue targets, driving strategic growth initiatives, developing top-tier sales talent, and ensuring forecasting rigor and predictability in the business.


What You Will Do

Team Leadership & Development

    • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Account Executives focused on new business and expansion within mid market accounts.
    • Attract, hire, and retain top sales talent to build a high-performance team culture.
    • Implement effective sales processes, forecast accuracy, and territory planning strategies.

Sales Strategy & Execution

    • Define and execute the regional sales strategy in alignment with company goals.
    • Analyze market dynamics, customer needs, and competitor activity to continuously refine sales tactics.
    • Oversee pipeline development and ensure high-confidence forecasting accuracy to drive predictable revenue growth.
    • Partner with channel and alliance organizations to co-sell, drive partner-sourced opportunities, and expand regional market coverage.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

    • Work closely with Marketing, Customer Success, Product, Sales Enablement,
    • Channel, and Alliances to ensure alignment and support for regional priorities.
    • Represent the voice of the customer to internal teams and influence product direction based on market feedback.

Performance Management

    • Own and exceed regional revenue goals.
    • Drive operational excellence by ensuring compliance with sales tools, CRM hygiene, and performance metrics.
    • Establish and maintain a rigorous forecasting cadence, ensuring data-driven decisions and timely course corrections.

What We Are Looking For

  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of sales leadership experience in a high-growth B2B SaaS or technology-driven environment.
  • Proven track record of exceeding team quotas and growing revenue within the Mid-Market segment.
  • Strong understanding of sales methodologies, forecasting processes, pipeline management, and operational discipline.
  • Demonstrated ability to hire, develop, and retain top-performing sales professionals.
  • Excellent communication, strategic thinking, and data-driven decision-making skills.
  • Prior experience managing geographically dispersed teams across large territories.
  • Familiarity with selling into companies under $2.5B in revenue across various industries.
  • Experience working with channel partners, resellers, and technology alliances to influence deal strategy and expand go-to-market reach.
  • Deep understanding of enterprise software sales cycles and customer buying behavior in the Mid Market.
