The Role

We are looking for a HR Business Partner to serve as a trusted advisor to leaders and employees, helping drive a thoughtful, consistent, and high-quality employee experience across the entire employee lifecycle. In this role, you'll partner closely with managers to navigate employee relations, performance management, organizational change, leave administration, employment law, and global mobility while helping our People team build scalable processes that support our continued growth.


What You’ll Do

  • Partner with leaders across the business to provide strategic guidance on employee relations, performance management, organizational design, and workforce planning.
  • Serve as the primary HR partner for managers, coaching them through performance conversations, employee development, investigations, conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and organizational change.
  • Lead workplace investigations and recommend fair, compliant, and practical resolutions while partnering closely with Legal on complex employee matters.
  • Guide managers through employee departures, including resignations, performance-based terminations, reductions in force, and organizational changes.
  • Drive consistency across the performance management lifecycle, including goal setting, feedback, performance reviews, promotions, corrective actions, and performance improvement plans.
  • Support and continuously improve company-wide performance review programs and manager enablement.
  • Manage employee leaves of absence, including FMLA, ADA accommodations, parental leave, disability, workers' compensation, state leave programs, and international leave requirements.
  • Partner with third-party administrators to deliver a seamless leave experience while ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.
  • Provide guidance on federal, state, and international employment laws and recommend policy and process improvements as regulations evolve.
  • Partner with outside immigration counsel to support employment-based visa sponsorships, permanent residency processes, global mobility, and international hiring initiatives.
  • Build trusted relationships with leaders by identifying organizational challenges, talent risks, and opportunities to improve employee engagement and retention.
  • Collaborate closely with Recruiting, People Operations, Legal, Finance, Payroll, Benefits, and IT to deliver a seamless employee experience and help scale the People function.

What We’re Looking For

  • 8+ years of progressive Human Resources experience, including experience as an HR Business Partner supporting managers across the employee lifecycle.
  • Experience serving as an HR Business Partner within a rapidly scaling technology company, with a demonstrated ability to build and scale HRBP practices, manager partnerships, and people programs while operating effectively in ambiguity.
  • Strong expertise in employee relations, investigations, employment law, conflict resolution, and manager coaching.
  • Experience supporting leaders through organizational change, performance management, and workforce planning.
  • Knowledge of U.S. employment laws, including FMLA, ADA, leave administration, disability, and state leave programs; international employment experience is a plus.
  • Experience partnering with immigration counsel on employment-based visa sponsorships and global mobility programs.
  • Excellent judgment with the ability to navigate sensitive and confidential situations with professionalism and empathy.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience with HRIS platforms; Rippling experience is a plus.
  • A thoughtful, curious, and resourceful approach to solving people challenges.
